In conjunction with the first Formula One Race in Singapore, CITISPA organized the Singapore Race Festival Charity Drive to raise funds for 5 selected children charities. On 21 September 2008, Guest-of-Honour, Mayor Zainudin Nordin, flagged off 30 supercars to ferry about 70 children on a charity ride around the Marina Bay Street Circuit. The drive raised $38,888, which was channeled through the Central Singapore CDC.
